I'm looking forward to the warm, sunny days ahead. Yes, even in Oregon we have sunshine!

While planning vacations or simply relaxing in the garden with family and friends, summer lends a new pace to our lives, one where we can get caught up in the season’s change. I think it is an exciting time of growth and possibilities.

I’ve been invited to join the Autograph Party during the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Conference signing books on Saturday, July 28, at the SeaTac Hilton Convention Center near Seattle in the on-site Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

In August, at this year’s Willamette Writers Conference in Portland, Oregon, I’m giving a writer’s workshop on Writing While Working the Paying Job. I will be sharing some of the tools and tips I learned in writing and getting Koenig’s Wonder published while I was teaching computer software classes throughout the state of Oregon.

Both of these conferences offer a marvelous opportunity for writers to meet numerous agents, editors, and producers. See my Events page for more information. I hope you can join me there.
